Coaching for UP Sainik School

At Gyanpeeth Learning Center, we provide specialized coaching for the UP Sainik School entrance examination. Our program emphasizes several key areas crucial for success in the Sainik School entrance examination. Course Overview of UP Sainik School

UP Sainik Schools, funded by the state government, are managed by the UP Sainik Schools Society, which is chaired by the Chief Minister of Uttar Pradesh. Consequently, this leadership structure ensures that the schools adhere to state policies and educational standards. Additionally, the Local Board of Administration (LBA), led by the Division Commissioner and including the school’s Principal as Secretary, oversees the schools’ daily operations. Furthermore, the LBA plays a crucial role in implementing the school’s curriculum and managing resources effectively. Therefore, regular meetings between the LBA and school administrators are essential to address any issues that arise. Moreover, the LBA’s involvement helps in maintaining a high standard of education and discipline. Consequently, the cooperation between the UP Sainik Schools Society and the LBA facilitates a well-organized educational environment. Nevertheless, challenges can still occur, and thus, both entities must remain adaptable and responsive. As a result, ongoing evaluations and feedback mechanisms are integral to the schools’ success. Ultimately, this collaborative approach ensures that the schools continue to provide quality education and prepare students for future challenges.

General Information

Admissions occur annually in April for Classes VI and IX. The written examination, held every January, determines selection. Applicants must fill out the application form online at www.upsainikschool.org, following the prescribed procedure.

Eligibility

Domicile: Candidates must be domiciles of UP.
Date of Birth: For the academic year 2024-25, candidates born between:
- Class VI (Male only): July 2, 2012, to January 1, 2015
- Class IX (Male & Female): July 2, 2009, to January 1, 2012

Syllabus

The written examination standards match those of Class V & VIII from the U.P. Board, CBSE, or CISCE for admission to Class VI & IX.

Results

Results are published on the school website www.upsainikschool.org and displayed on the school notice board.

Interview

Candidates who pass the written examination will subsequently face an interview at Captain Manoj Kumar Pandey U.P. Sainik School, conducted by a selection board. Therefore, it’s crucial for candidates to prepare thoroughly for both the written and interview stages.

Medical Fitness

Qualified candidates must undergo medical tests. Unfit candidates will not be eligible for admission.

Merit List

A merit list determines admissions based on placement, available seats, and medical fitness. Consequently, candidates must arrange their own boarding and lodging for examinations, interviews, and medical tests. Moreover, no TA/DA is provided. Therefore, attempts to contact school officials or connected persons will lead to disqualification.

SC: 21%
ST: 2%
